about me: the abridged, career edition

My name is Heather Smith and I am an interactive creative director, web/flash designer and animator with over 10 years of experience in the digital arts industry; on the front lines and in leadership. After receiving my Interactive Multimedia BA from Columbia College, my career has gone on to encompassed a diverse scale of clients (from Fortune 100 companies to individuals) and a variety of work environments (from global advertising agencies to start ups.)

A lifelong artist, I turned my attention towards the interactive space in order to explore deeper communication possibilities between art and observer. I bring creative vision, passion for design and dedication to creating meaningful interactions to every piece I create online.
