Patchwork Tweet
I recently had the pleasure of working on a project called Patchwork Tweet.
- 1. The system begins by taking at look at the top 20 twitter trending terms.
- 2. It then analyzes the text of each tweet and selects a google image using the terms within that tweet.
- 3. It then generates a three panel comic on the fly, using the google image it selected and the text of the tweet.
You also have the ability to convert your personal, preexisting tweets into a 3 panel comic.

We also made an installation version that automatically selects a “patch” to explore at random. I built an enclosure that houses 4 LCD panels all randomly selecting one “patch” at a time.
